Ortho-Bionomy® is a unique form of bodywork with a reputation for being a gentle way to relieve pain.  The Ortho-Bionomy® catalog of techniques includes working with the joints, muscles, posture, organs, fluids, cranium and the nervous system, and is based on the philosophy of allowing the body to heal itself by inviting change rather than forcing a correction.

“Fundamentals of Ortho-Bionomy®: The Spine & Pelvis” is a two day workshop that introduces the history, philosophy, and concepts of Ortho-Bionomy® and provides an overview of fundamental techniques and anatomy for the pelvis, the vertebral spine, and ribcage. Movements and positions of comfort are demonstrated to facilitate the release of muscular tension by stimulating inherent, self corrective reflexes of the body. Learn how to facilitate the release of tension patterns, increase range of motion, and support a greater sense of well being through an easy to use and effective modality. This is a hands on, clothes on, non forceful positional release modality that helps the body create balance from within. Dress comfortably. This is an entry level class or review to deepen one’s understanding.
