Ortho-Bionomy® is a unique form of bodywork with a reputation for being a gentle way to relieve pain.  The Ortho-Bionomy® catalog of techniques includes working with the joints, muscles, posture, organs, fluids, cranium and the nervous system, and is based on the philosophy of allowing the body to heal itself by inviting change rather than forcing a correction.

The techniques and concepts taught in the Ortho-Bionomy: Exploration of Movement Patterns workshop adds a dynamic dimension to the positional release techniques taught in The Fundamentals of Ortho-Bionomy classes.  In this workshop, we use passive movement to engage the client’s self-corrective potential.  We explore and reveal the patterns that their body has evolved, and by supporting in a nonjudgemental manner, we elicit recognition and shifts in these patterns.  This expands their ease and range of movement while integrating the changes with the rest of the system to give the body a renewed sense of self.  This class provides a bridge to the more subtle methods of Ortho-Bionomy.  This is hands on, clothes on work.  Dress comfortably.
