Many professions including Ortho-Bionomy use isometric and isotonic techniques with their clients.  In this two day workshop, you will learn when and how to appropriately use these techniques in order to stimulate self corrective reflexes, to work with inefficient muscular patterns, to increase range of motion, to release soft tissue, and to encourage ease, comfort, and tone within your clients.  In particular, the use of Reciprocal Inhibition will be taught and practiced because of its ease and effectiveness.

Ortho-Bionomy® is a unique form of bodywork with a reputation for being a gentle way to relieve pain.  The Ortho-Bionomy® catalog of techniques includes working with the joints, muscles, posture, organs, fluids, cranium and the nervous system, and is based on the philosophy of allowing the body to heal itself by inviting change rather than forcing a correction.  This is an entry level class for Ortho-Bionomy, or a review to refresh your skills.
