Janine Strenta, MA, MS, LAc, LMT

Janine Strenta, MA, MS, LAc, LMT, is a senior faculty member and has taught at the Swedish Institute for over 40 years. She was the director of the P.H. Ling Clinic and chairperson of the Clinical Studies Department for 18 years. As a member of the curriculum committee, Janine helped design and develop the Massage Therapy program’s Associate of Occupational Studies Degree course of study, and wrote curriculum for its Clinical Studies courses. Along with her extensive medical massage experience, her background includes the study of acupuncture, herbs, crystals, and hypnotherapy, as well as other healing modalities. Janine has taught medical massage and energy workshops for the AMTA, and throughout the United States. She currently has a private practice in Manhattan and Brooklyn.
