Oncology Massage is the fastest growing sector of our profession today. Why? Because it is a therapeutic intervention that reduces the negative side effects of cancer treatment by more than 50%.
Massage Therapists who train to work with clients who have had cancer are advancing the concept that Massage Therapists are part of health care. Whether you are looking to work in the medical side of massage, interested in working in a hospital environment or desire to be able to treat every client that walks through the door, training in oncology massage provides all of those opportunities.
Once you have taken this 2-day class you will be skilled enough to provide a safe treatment for a client with a history of cancer. You will also qualify for additional advanced training in Manual Lymphatic Drainage, end of life care and hospital based massage.
Becoming an Oncology Massage Therapist can expand your business and employment opportunities exponentially. It will also nourish your heart and allow you to help people as they manage a very challenging disease.
For those who wish to continue their Oncology Massage training, this introductory class serves as the prerequisite to any of the next-level courses.
